So we decided to spend a little time in Heidelberg this weekend and see what there is to see. We discovered there is plenty to do here to keep anyone busy for a while! The trouble with exploring this time of year is that there were a million TOURISTS! Tourists go home! We don't count. We live here!
Check out Homebase Heidelberg for some shots of Heidelberg Castle and the woods above. There's actually the Bergbahn (funicular) that goes from the Alt Stadt (Old City) up to the castle and then to the top of the ridge line to the Konigstuhl, the highest point in Heidelberg. We walked to the castle and drove up to the top of the ridge.
